Mink Shiraishi, an ordinary teenager, is absolutely crazy about Illiya, a famous pop-star. When Mink rushes to pick up his new CD, she suddenly picks up a weird disc with the words 'WANNA-BE' written on it, along with the year 2099. Interested, Mink and her friends decide to put it into their laptop. Soon, Mink and her friends were dealing with a program that helped them make their own cyber idol, complete with a cute outfit, shoes, and hair-do. After naming the cyber idol 'Mink', the idol burst out of the laptop and merged with Mink Shiraishi, creating a new pop star: Cyber Idol Mink. However, the program's robot, Om, sets out to guide Mink on her journey, but on one account: nobody reveals who Cyber Idol Mink really is.
