This mahou shoujo uses fairy tale and classical ballet themes and stories for its motifs. Ahiru is a little duck who longed to make the prince happy, to do this she wished she could be human, and in her longing her wish was granted. She wakes up and finds herself attending a ballet school, and has a crush on Mute (hs is the prince she wanted to make smile). But soon she finds to protect Mute she will have to transform into Princess Tutu. A much loved series by fans.
